Integrative Bodywork

During my training at the Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts, I learned many modalities and techniques for working with clients with varied massage needs. I learned basic relaxation to assist the nervous system, myofascial release to assist old patterns or repetitive movement injuries, craniosacral therapy to calm deep nervous system imbalance with the lightest of touches, and many more. I have also continued my education after completing the program to include many specialty modalities that I have found beneficial to my own healing process. Integrative Bodywork is how I am best able to serve my clients by allowing space for them to find through experiencing massage what works best for them and incorporating what modality or modalities show up during a session for the best outcome.

Many clients come to me for specific bodywork, and I work in that capacity as well, but do not limit them to one technique if they need something else for their overall wellbeing.

Being in the business of massage and bodywork allows me to find training in self-awareness and a group of like-minded humans that have been a touchstone for finding my balance when the waters of life began moving rapidly. I discovered reservoirs of strength to provide a safe space in which my clients can receive, to the best of my ability, the healing that only they have the capability to do. I assist them by gently reminding the body with massage and bodywork, what it can do with just a little support and a lot of awareness.
